Dr. Chisholm has been engaged by leading financial institutions and governmental agencies throughout his career, including assignments in private industry: global master data and reference data for a number of international financial firms; master data strategy for a major international brokerage firm; data hub architecture and design for a global fund manager; and asset securitization and business rules design for global financial institutions.
With governments and public agencies he has worked on data strategies, including: the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) where he developed a multilingual field-based Management Information System for Local Governance that records information on local development initiatives (micro-projects) funded by a central government or the UNCDF; had developed a Master Data strategy for Emergency SEC Regulatory Reporting; for the US Department of Defense (DoD) undertook a strategic review concerning the management of reference data across the entire DoD in a program to achieve “Straight Through Processing” (STP); and worked with a major US Intelligence Agency on its Enterprise Data Management Strategy.

Gary L. Gastineau

Gary Gastineau is a recognized expert on exchange-traded funds. He is the Principal of ETF Consultants, a firm providing specialized exchange-traded fund consulting services to ETF issuers, exchanges and other markets, market makers, research organizations and investors. He is also a Managing Member and co-founder of Managed ETFs, a firm that has patents and patent applications covering a new ETF trading mechanism and actively managed ETFs. Previously, Mr. Gastineau was Managing Director of ETF Advisors and Managing Director for ETF Product Development at Nuveen Investments. Preceding his tenure at Nuveen, Mr. Gastineau was Senior Vice President for New Product Development at the American Stock Exchange for five years where he was instrumental in the introduction of many derivative contracts and ETF products. The first edition of his book, The Exchange-Traded Funds Manual, was published in February 2002 by Wiley. The second edition, which is completely new, will be available in June, 2010. Gary is also the author of Someone Will Make Money On Your Funds – Why Not You? published by Wiley in 2005, The Options Manual (Third Edition, McGraw-Hill, 1988), and co-author of the Dictionary of Financial Risk Management (Fabozzi, 1999) and Equity Flex Options (Fabozzi, 1999), as well as numerous journal articles. He received the Bernstein Fabozzi/Jacobs Levy Award for an Outstanding Article for “Equity Index Funds Have Lost Their Way,” which appeared in the Winter 2002 issue of The Journal of Portfolio Management.
Gary serves on the editorial boards of The Journal of Portfolio Management, The Journal of Derivatives and The Journal of Indexes. Gary is a member of the Review Board for the Research Foundation of the CFA Institute. He is an honors graduate of both Harvard College and Harvard Business School.

Christopher Keith

Mr. Keith is Chairman/Founder of Brilig, an Internet company which operates currently as a data exchange and whose objective is to create an open platform for “people search”. People search looks for people who have some specified attribute. Though its first focus is the advertising business the function spans all commercial and social space. It only finds people who want to be found, thus ensuring privacy in a way “opting out” approaches can’t. Mr. Keith is also Chairman of PDQ enterprises, an ATS currently trading 5-10 million shares and Chairman/CEO of ExchangeLab, a company with nearly a dozen trading/Internet issued patents over the last decade. Its current focus is on next generation trading architecture and on collaborative Internet games.

Mr. Keith served for nearly a decade as CIO and Management Committee member at the New York Stock Exchange. Prior to this he was Chief Planning/Development Officer at the Security Industry Automation Corporation (SIAC), responsible for well-known automation products, such as Common Message Switch, DOT, Consolidated Tape & Quote, MDS (NYSE and American Stock Exchange), PERS, Automated Bond Systems, and ITS. He founded and was Chief Executive of DNS, the financial communication service arm of ADP, Inc. which came to dominate the market. He was also the original Chief Technologist of NASDAQ company Wit Capital.
Mr. Keith’s accomplishments have been noted in numerous publications including; Trading and Technology Magazine, Investment Dealer’s Digest, Red Herring, Wall Street Journal, Yahoo! News, CNNfn, and Securities Industry News, among others. Mr. Keith holds a BA from Stanford University with graduate work at Swarthmore and MIT.

Derek N. LaSalle

Most recently, Mr. LaSalle served as vice president and head of information architecture at JP Morgan Investment Bank while performing as the convener of the ISO20022 Technical Support Group. Additionally, Mr. LaSalle represented the financial services industry in the SmartGrid initiative and membership in the Committee to Establish the National Institute of Finance (CE-NIF) which contributed OFR requirements to the Dodd-Frank Financial Regulatory Reform Bill. Dr. Robert M. Mark

Dr. Robert M. Mark is the Founding Chief Executive Officer of Black Diamond Risk which provides corporate governance, risk management consulting, risk software tools and transaction services. Dr. Mark is also the Founding Executive Director of the Masters of Financial Engineering Program at the UCLA Anderson School of Management. He serves on several boards as well as on Checkpoint’s Investment Committee. In 1998, he was awarded the Financial Risk Manager of the Year by the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP). He is the Vice Chairperson of the Board of the Professional Risk Managers’ International Association (PRMIA).

Prior to his current position, he was the Senior Executive Vice-President and Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC). Dr. Mark was a member of the Management Committee. His global responsibility covered all credit, market, and operating risks for all of CIBC as well as for its subsidiaries. Prior to his CRO position, Dr. Mark was the Corporate Treasurer at CIBC.
Prior to CIBC, he was the partner in charge of the Financial Risk Management Consulting practice at Coopers & Lybrand (C&L). The Risk Management Practice and C&L advised clients on risk management issues and were directed toward financial institutions and multi-national corporations. This specialty area also coordinated the delivery of the firm’s accounting, tax, control, and litigation services to provide clients with integrated and comprehensive risk management solutions and opportunities.
Prior to his position at C&L, he was a managing director in the Asia, Europe, and Capital Markets Group (AECM) at Chemical Bank. His responsibilities within AECM encompassed risk management, asset/liability management, research (quantitative analysis), strategic planning and analytical systems. He served on the Senior Credit Committee of the Bank. Before he joined Chemical Bank, he was a senior officer at Marine Midland Bank/HongKongShanghai Bank (HKSB) where he headed the technical analysis trading group within the Capital Markets Sector.
He earned his Ph.D., with a dissertation in options pricing, from New York University’s Graduate School of Engineering and Science, graduating first in his class. Subsequently, he received an Advanced Professional Certificate (APC) in accounting from NYU’s Stern Graduate School of Business, and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program. He is an Adjunct Professor and co-author of Risk Management (McGraw-Hill), published in October 2000 as well as a co –author of The Essentials of Risk Management (McGraw Hill) published in December 2005. Dr. Mark served on the board of ISDA as well as the Chairperson of the National Asset/Liability Management Association (NALMA). Dr. Mark is also currently a lecturer on Risk Management at the University of California, Berkeley.

From 1993 to 1999, Dr. Mintz held senior executive positions at Thomson Financial, the $1.2 billion global provider of professional information services that was part of the Thomson Corporation.
Dr. Mintz was awarded a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (Biomedical) from the University of Toronto in 1985. He graduated from the University of Manitoba with a BScEE in Electrical Engineering. He currently serves on the advisory board of Milestone Venture Partners, an early stage fund, and on the Board of FTEN, a leading provider of real-time low-latency trading and risk management solutions.
He was a Director and Audit Committee member of I-Trax Health Management Solutions, Inc. (Amex: DMX) until its sale in 2008.
